The Swedish singer and composer Klara Kjellénhas a masters degree in music at Malmö Academy of Music in Sweden.Klara has studied piano and guitar, but her main focus has been onsinging and composition. Over the years she has studied with manydifferent singing teachers in Stockholm, Copenhagen and Malmö. Duringher final year she was taught by external teachers in London such asKatie Melua’s guitar player Justin Sandercoe.
Klara Kjellén writes music and sings in her two bands Klara KjellénSextet and Happy Street. In June 2007 Klara Kjellén Sextet released thenew album “Under your skin” on the German record label JOPREC. Klara isalso recording a full length album with Happy Street in a London basedstudio to be released on her own label Dark Green Records in 2008.
"I just have to admit that all my songs are in a way love songs. Love for this life and the people I meet, the films I see, the music I listen to and the sports I play.
Love for skiing in the alps and playing volleyball on the beach,scoring goals for my local football team in London and to better mytime on my next half marathon. If I can keep having lovely people in mylife, continue to write and play music and enjoy sports I will continueto be happy and express my love for life through music."
